Stabbing Leaves Man Dead in D.C., Suspect Arrested

WASHINGTON, D.C. – A 45-year-old man was stabbed to death in Southeast, D.C. late Sunday night. The incident happened at the 4300 Block of Halley Terrace.

Shortly before midnight, police arrived at the location to investigate a stabbing report. Officers found the stabbing victim, 45-year-old Damien Thompson of Maryland. Thompson was pronounced dead at the scene.

28-year-old Michael Caldwell was arrested by detectives on Sunday and charged with second-degree murder while armed.
