Victim Hospitalized After Stabbing and Assault in D.C., Three Arrested

WASHINGTON, D.C. – An arrest has been made by Washington, D.C. Metro Police Department detectives regarding a stabbing and simple assault that took place on Saturday morning in Northwest, D.C.

The incident took place at the specified location around 11:30 am at the 3300 block of 14th Street, when the suspects and the victim engaged in a verbal altercation. During the altercation, the suspects assaulted the victim physically. At a later point, one of the suspects drew a knife and proceeded to stab the victim. The victim was then transported to a local hospital, where they were treated for injuries that were determined to be non-life-threatening. Following the event, law enforcement officers arrested the suspects, and a knife was retrieved by the officers who arrived at the scene.


On Saturday, a 31-year-old named Manuel Medias was taken into custody and faced charges of Assault with a Dangerous Weapon. Additionally, Jesus Ramos-Martinez, aged 30, and Ventura Elmer, aged 47, were apprehended and charged with Simple Assault.
