Help Solve the Case: D.C.Police Call on Public to Identify Suspects, Vehicle in Shooting

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Detectives from the Washington, D.C. Metro Police Department are reaching out to the public for assistance in identifying the suspects and vehicle connected to a shooting incident that occurred in Northwest, D.C., early Wednesday morning.

The incident took place at the 1900 block of 9th Street. Responding to a shooting report around 3 am, officers found an adult male victim at the scene. The victim was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment and is anticipated to recover.

Police describe the vehicle as a “red in color Hyundai Tuscon with unknown tags.”


Surveillance cameras captured suspects and their vehicle. If you have any information about this shooting, please take no action but call the police at (202) 727-9099 or text your tip to the Department’s TEXT TIP LINE at 50411. The incident remains under investigation.
