NYPD offers reward for information in murder of 16-year-old Claudia Quatey

NEW YORK CITY, NY – The New York City Police Department and CrimeStoppers are offering a combined reward of $10,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for a recent homicide in of a teen girl in Queens.

On Wednesday, May 10, at approximately 8:29 pm, three unknown individuals reportedly fired shots in front of 121-14 Lucas Street, striking 16-year-old Claudia Quatey in the head.

She was playing with friends on a playground and caught in a deadly crossfire.


Claudia succumbed to her injuries on Thursday, May 11, 2023. The suspects, described as three males with varying physical characteristics, fled the scene on foot, heading west on 122 Avenue.

The NYPD requests the public’s assistance in identifying these individuals.
