Pemberton police seeking Behavioral Health patient who disappeared into woods

PEMBERTON TOWNSHIP, NJ – On Friday, at approximately 3:27 pm, police responded to a missing person report from Buttonwood Behavioral Health, located at 600 Pemberton-Browns Mills Road. Staff informed officers that Deon Bullard Jr., an involuntarily committed patient diagnosed with schizoaffective disorder and bipolar disorder, had jumped the fence and vanished into the woods.

Bullard was last seen wearing grey shorts, an unknown color t-shirt, and was barefoot. With black hair, brown eyes, standing 5’06″ tall and weighing approximately 130lbs, Bullard is known to spend extended periods in the woods. He is a resident of Columbus, NJ. The Pemberton Township Police Department encourages anyone with information on Bullard’s whereabouts to contact them at 609-723-8300.
