NEW YORK, NY – A woman was attacked and robbed by a mob of female suspects while riding a subway train in Brooklyn last month. Now, police have released photos from nearby surveillance cameras in hopes that the public can help them with identification.

On Monday, May 22, at around 2 am, a 27-year-old woman was approached by three unidentified females while riding a southbound MTA ‘A’ train near Utica Avenue and Fulton Street. The individuals initiated a conversation with the victim but soon resorted to physically assaulting her, repeatedly striking her head and body.

They forcefully took her bag, which contained her wallet and cell phone, before fleeing the train.

As a result of the attack, the victim experienced pain and swelling but did not require medical attention. Furthermore, unauthorized charges were made on her stolen banking cards.
