Armed Robbery at Glen Burnie Convenience Store Leads to quick Arrests

GLEN BURNIE, MD – An armed robbery occurred last Friday at the 7-Eleven located at 7179 Baltimore Annapolis Boulevard in Glen Burnie.

At 8:45 p.m., a white male, outfitted in a black mask, jacket, and gloves, walked into the store brandishing a black semi-handgun. He pointed the weapon at the two individuals present and demanded money, making off with the entire cash drawer.

A second individual, waiting in a nearby vehicle, acted as his getaway driver.

Officers received a description of the suspect vehicle and located it in the vicinity. The passenger fled on foot while the driver was apprehended without incident.

With the help of aviation and K-9 units, the passenger, Harry Wayne Shauck Jr., a 54-year-old from Linthicum, was also detained. The driver, David Clifford Lockwood, 46, from Abingdon, was taken into custody. Both men were arrested and charged according to the crime.
