Pittsburgh Police Arrest Shooting Suspect

PITTSBURGH, PA – The Pittsburgh Police Fugitive Apprehension Unit, alongside the U.S. Marshals Western Pennsylvania Fugitive Task Force, arrested Damon Peters, 19, in the Hill District for his involvement in a critical shooting incident on June 9, 2023, on the 2400 block of Chauncey Drive.

Peters was wanted on two additional unrelated warrants.

Charges against Peters include criminal attempt homicide, aggravated assault, recklessly endangering another person, carrying a firearm without a license, persons not to possess a firearm, and criminal mischief.
