Spot Shotter Alert Leads Police to Gunshot Victim

ROCHESTER, NY – In the early hours of Sunday, at approximately 12:30 am, officers responded to a shot-spotter activation on the 100 block of Hobart Street.

A 31-year-old male resident was found with at least one gunshot wound to his upper body.

The victim was rushed to Strong Memorial Hospital (SMH) by ambulance.

His injuries were initially reported as life-threatening, however, his current condition is not known.

There are no suspects in custody in connection to the shooting.

Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call 911.
