NYC School Safety Officer Charged with Assault, Strangulation

NEW YORK, NY – A New York City school safety agent has been arrested and charged for multiple counts of assault.

At approximately 6:30 PM, an off-duty New York City employee was arrested and charged with several serious offenses within the confines of the 83 Precinct.

The individual taken into custody is identified as Daniel Bobe, a 29-year-old male employed as an NYPD School Safety Agent. The charges brought against him include Strangulation, Assault (2 counts) and Criminal Mischief.

Details surrounding the circumstances of the arrest and the alleged incidents leading to these charges have not been disclosed at this time.

The identity of the victims, if any, and further information related to the case will be released as deemed appropriate by the NYPD.
