CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA – Two victims were transported to UVA hospital after a shooting in the east parking lot of Fashion Square Mall.
On Wednesday evening at approximately 7:03 pm, patrol officers with the Albemarle County Police Department responded to reports of shots fired at 1600 block of Rio Rd East. Upon arrival, officers discovered two individuals suffering from gunshot wounds.
Both victims were promptly transported to UVA hospital for treatment.
The investigation is currently ongoing, and authorities are urging anyone with relevant information to contact Detective Holmes at 434-531-9348.
