Collegeville Man Charged with Killing Elderly Mother and Brother

COLLEGEVILLE, PA – Aaron Deshong, 49, has been charged with the murders of his mother, Wanda, 74, and older brother, Adam, 53, inside their shared home on Gravel Pike.

The charges were announced on Monday, following the discovery of the victims on Sunday evening.

According to the affidavit, Deshong had contacted the FBI National Threats Operation Center, hinting at harm to his relatives.

Upon arrival, officers found the two victims in the kitchen, both having suffered fatal gunshot wounds.

A .38-caliber revolver, registered to Deshong, was found in his bedroom closet with four fired shell casings. The motive remains unclear, and Deshong is currently in custody without bail.
