NYPD Investigating Cell Phone Snather on 2 Train

NEW YORK CITY, NY – The New York City Police Department is actively seeking assistance in identifying an individual involved in a grand larceny incident that occurred last Wednesday, November 8.

The event took place at approximately 08:25 AM on a southbound 2 Train near the Gun Hill Road subway station.

According to the report, a 33-year-old male passenger was targeted by an unknown male who forcefully took his iPhone 12 ProMax. The assailant then exited the train at the Gun Hill Road station and escaped on foot. The victim did not sustain any injuries during the robbery.

The New York City Police Department has released media footage of the suspect, which is accessible through the DCPI.
