Police Seek Florida Fugitive Wanted for Shooting and Killing His Wife

ESCAMBIA COUNTY, FL — The Escambia County Sheriff’s Office is actively searching for 36-year-old Darryl Jerome Walker, wanted in connection with a domestic homicide. The incident occurred on November 22nd, around 5:30 a.m., in the 12000th block of Meadson Road.

Deputies responding to the scene found a 35-year-old female with a gunshot wound. The victim, identified as Walker’s wife, was pronounced deceased at the scene. Walker, believed to be the shooter, subsequently fled the area. He was last seen driving a black 2020 Hyundai Veloster, Florida license plate #BG10PN.

Walker is currently wanted for homicide and is considered armed and dangerous. The Escambia County Sheriff’s Office urges anyone with information regarding Walker’s whereabouts to contact Crime Stoppers at 850-433-STOP or the ECSO at 850-436-9620.
