ALLAMUCHY TOWNSHIP, NJ – On November 22, 2023, Troop “B” Hope Station Troopers responded to a vehicle collision at the intersection of County Road 517 and Ridge Road in Allamuchy Township.
Andrzej Szysko, 51, from Hackettstown, driving a Jeep Wrangler, collided with a Ford, which then hit a Jeep SUV.
The accident resulted in the death of Lauren M. Gerhold, 33, and serious injuries to others involved.
Szysko, arrested on January 4, faces multiple charges, including Vehicular Manslaughter and Assault by Auto.
He is currently hospitalized and awaiting transfer to Warren County Jail.
