Pemberton Township, NJ – The Pemberton Township Police Department’s K9 unit has been equipped with essential life-saving gear, thanks to a generous donation from Project Paws Alive – PPAK9, a non-profit organization dedicated to the welfare of service dogs in law enforcement and the military.
Ptl. Joseph Peters and his K9 partner, Pepper, who specializes in narcotics detection and tracking missing persons, are the beneficiaries of this donation. The gifted equipment includes an Emergency Trauma Kit and a K9 Narcan kit, designed to provide immediate aid in critical situations encountered in the field.
Project Paws Alive has been instrumental in supplying protective gear for K9 units across the country, ensuring these four-legged officers have the same level of protection and emergency medical support as their human counterparts. The donation to K9 Pepper underscores the organization’s commitment to the safety and well-being of service dogs actively engaged in law enforcement duties.
