South Jersey Weather Report: Mixed Rain and Snow

MOUNT HOLLY, NJ – A Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect from 3 AM to 3 PM EST Tuesday. Wet snow is expected with total accumulations of up to 4 inches. Winds could gust as high as 45 mph.

Tuesday’s forecast includes rain and snow, possibly mixed with sleet before 2 pm, then a slight chance of rain and snow between 2 pm and 3 pm. The rain could be heavy at times, with a high near 38. It will be windy, with a north wind of 25 to 30 mph becoming northwest 15 to 20 mph in the afternoon. There is a 100% chance of precipitation, with new snow and sleet accumulation of around an inch possible.

Tuesday night is expected to be partly cloudy, with a low around 26. A west wind of 10 to 15 mph is anticipated.

Wednesday is forecasted to be sunny, with a high near 38. It will be breezy, with a northwest wind of 15 to 20 mph, gusting as high as 30 mph.

Wednesday night is forecasted to be mostly clear, with a low around 21. A northwest wind around 10 mph is anticipated. Slippery road conditions and hazardous commuting conditions are expected due to the wet snow and gusty winds.
