Brooklyn Man Arrested for Shooting into Apartments on Valentine’s Day

Brooklyn, NY – An arrest has been made in connection with a January incident involving weapon possession and reckless endangerment in Brooklyn. Lael Parker, a 30-year-old male from Brooklyn, was apprehended on Wednesday, February 14, at approximately 3:10 PM.

Parker faces charges of criminal possession of a weapon and reckless endangerment.

The arrest stems from an incident reported to police on Sunday, January 14, 2024, at around 6:50 AM.

Police say Parker entered 345 Thatford Avenue, discharged a firearm multiple times, striking two apartment doors, and then fled the scene. The suspect was last observed entering a vehicle traveling eastbound on Lott Avenue. Fortunately, there were no injuries reported in connection with this incident.
