Two Bodies Found by Police in Wilkes-Barre

WILKES-BARRE, PA – Luzerne County officials have provided an update on the ongoing investigation into a series of unsettling discoveries in Wilkes-Barre.

The body found in a wooded area behind the Host Inn on Kidder Street has been linked to the investigation of another body discovered buried in the basement of a residence on Carlisle Street. Efforts to positively identify both bodies are underway, with each showing signs of decomposition.

Due to the investigation’s sensitive nature, limited information is currently available. However, authorities have committed to releasing further details as they emerge, provided they do not compromise the case’s integrity.

The Wilkes-Barre City Detective Division is urging anyone with information to come forward, as the investigation continues to unravel the circumstances surrounding these grim findings.
