Stabbing in D.C. Claims One Man’s Life

WASHINGTON, DC — A man was fatally stabbed in Northeast Washington on Monday evening, prompting an investigation by the D.C. Metro Police Department. Officers responded to a call at the 300 block of 61st Street at around 7:15 p.m., where an unresponsive individual was reported.

Upon arrival, first responders discovered a man who had sustained stab wounds. He was found unconscious and not breathing and was later pronounced dead at the scene. The victim has been identified as 33-year-old Devon Greenfield, a resident of Northeast D.C.

As of now, authorities have not provided any suspect descriptions, nor have they speculated on a possible motive or the circumstances leading to Greenfield’s death. The D.C.
