by Breaking Local News Report

MANCHESTER, NJ — A house fire that erupted on Conestoga Drive in the Whiting section of Manchester Township on Wednesday afternoon has been officially classified as accidental. At around 5:13 PM, Manchester Township Police were called to the scene where they found the house emitting smoke from its rear, though all occupants had evacuated safely prior to their arrival.

The collaborative efforts of the Manchester Township Communications Division and the Ocean County Sheriff’s Office Communications Division enabled the swift response of multiple fire departments. These units successfully extinguished the fire without any reported injuries, though the house was rendered uninhabitable. The American Red Cross is providing assistance to the affected residents.
