15-Year-Old Arrested for Armed Robbery in D.C.

WASHINGTON, D.C. — A significant breakthrough in an armed robbery investigation has led to the arrest of a 15-year-old male in Northwest Washington, according to the Metropolitan Police Department’s Third District. The incident, which occurred on March 14, involved two suspects accosting a victim and committing robbery at gunpoint.

The confrontation occurred in the afternoon, around 3:07 p.m., on the 3000 block of 11th Street NW. It is reported that one of the assailants brandished a firearm, demanding and subsequently taking the victim’s belongings through an assault before both perpetrators fled.

The young suspect, a resident of Northwest D.C., was apprehended on April 3 and faces charges of Armed Robbery (Gun).
