NYPD Arrests Man for Murder of Bronx Teen

Bronx Man Arrested on Multiple Charges Including Murder

BRONX, NY — Vladimir Lopez German, a 45-year-old resident of the Bronx, was arrested and charged with murder, manslaughter, and criminal possession of a weapon. The arrest occurred at 7:00 PM on Thursday within the 46th Precinct.

Earlier that day, at approximately 8:23 AM, police were dispatched to a reported stabbing near Inwood Avenue and Featherbed Lane, also within the 46th Precinct. Responding officers found a 19-year-old male victim who had been stabbed in the chest following a verbal altercation with an unidentified assailant. The victim was quickly transported to NYC Health+ Hospitals/Lincoln, where he was later pronounced dead.

The investigation into the stabbing led to the subsequent arrest of Lopez German. The authorities have not disclosed details on the progression from the initial crime to the arrest.
