Philadelphia, PA – A group of thieves stole approximately $40,000 worth of jewelry during a recent robbery in Center City Philadelphia. The incident occurred on the 100 block of South 9th Street, where a male suspect took a backpack from a victim’s car while they were changing a flat tire.
Authorities revealed that a second man used a hard object to intimidate the victim and prevent them from chasing the suspect. Additionally, two women were spotted accompanying one of the male suspects during the incident.
According to police reports, the suspects fled the scene in a light-colored Honda Odyssey bearing Pennsylvania license plate number LNV-1183, which was not registered to the vehicle. Individuals with any relevant information are urged to contact 215-686-8477 or submit tips via the PPD website.
