LAUREL, MD — On Monday, at about 8:30 a.m., officers discovered a male unresponsive behind the wheel of a black Dodge Durango, stationed in the right turn lane of Whiskey Bottom Road at Brock Bridge Road.
After awakening the driver, who was found to be unlicensed, police located a loaded 9mm Glock handgun with an extended magazine in the passenger area of the vehicle.
Further inspection led to the confiscation of five capsules and a clear bag of suspected heroin/fentanyl, a digital scale, packaging materials, and three mobile phones. The driver, barred from possessing firearms, was taken into custody and faces multiple charges.
