Toms River, NJ – The Toms River Police Department is inviting residents to police headquarters and have even offered to share their coveted donuts and coffee with their guests.
Police are hosting their monthly Neighborhood Watch meeting where officers will discuss current affairs with residents and outline their ongoing enforcement plans to combat a wave of home invasions and car thefts in recent months. These thefts have been blamed on criminal justice reforms that relaxed criminal penalties for repeat and juvenile offenders.
Residents are invited to a community outreach event at the Toms River Police Department on Thursday. The event aims to provide insight into local activities and offers attendees the chance to enjoy coffee and donuts.T
