Loaded Handgun Recovered Following Suspect Fleeing Traffic Stop in Calvert County

Dunkirk, MD – Deputies apprehended a suspect after fleeing a traffic stop, during which a loaded handgun was discovered.

The suspect, identified as Jeremiah Michael Devante Morris of Washington DC, was arrested and charged following the incident on Southern Maryland Blvd. at Chaney Road.

Deputies recovered the firearm after pursuing the suspect into the woods, where they swiftly apprehended him.
