Gunshots Fired in Wilkes-Barre

Wilkes-Barre, PA – The Wilkes-Barre City Police Department responded to reports of gunshots on Dana Street late on Tuesday night. Officers found shell casings at the scene but confirmed that no individuals were hit by the gunfire. The incident is currently under investigation.

Authorities were called to the area of Dana and Grove Streets after several shots were heard at around 8:56 p.m. Upon inspection, law enforcement officials discovered evidence of the shooting at a residence along Dana Street. Police continue to probe the circumstances surrounding the incident.
