Woman Charged for Stabbing Man and His Cat to Death

GREENSBORO, NC — Sheriff Danny H. Rogers of the Guilford County Sheriff’s Office announced a homicide investigation following the discovery of a deceased individual at a residence in Greensboro.

On May 30, 2024, at approximately 9:21 PM, deputies arrived at 300 Venus Drive, Greensboro and found 59-year-old Todd Allen Arnold with multiple stab wounds and various other injuries.

As a result of the investigation, 38-year-old Lauren Ashley Fullerton has been charged with first-degree murder and felony cruelty to animals.

The latter charge was due to the discovery of a deceased animal on the property. Fullerton is currently held without bond at the Guilford County Detention Center and is scheduled for her first court appearance on May 31, 2024, at 2:00 PM.
