STAFFORD COUNTY, VA—Two separate incidents involving alcohol resulted in legal consequences on Wednesday, as reported by the Stafford County Sheriff’s Office.
The first incident occurred at 6:01 PM on Kellogg Mill Road, where a Ford vehicle collided with a tree. Deputy I.E. Baldi responded to the scene of this single-vehicle accident.
The driver exhibited clear signs of intoxication and admitted to consuming Four Loko before driving. He was charged with driving under the influence and is currently receiving treatment at a local hospital.
In a related incident, Deputy R.J. Kemp was called to the 2700 block of Richmond Highway at 5:27 PM due to a report of a suspicious person. Upon arrival, Deputy Kemp found a male suspect napping on the ground. The suspect displayed signs of intoxication when he awoke and was subsequently charged with public intoxication. He was held at Rappahannock Regional Jail until he could sober up.
