Absecon Drawbridge Repaired, Traffic Resumes Normally in Atlantic City

by Breaking Local News Report

ATLANTIC CITY, NJ— The Atlantic City Police Department has announced that the Absecon drawbridge on Route 30, previously reported as malfunctioning, is now repaired and fully functional.

Earlier today, authorities had issued a traffic advisory warning that the bridge was malfunctioning and advised drivers to use alternative routes including the Atlantic City Expressway or Route 40. Officers were dispatched to assist with traffic control during the disruption.

With the bridge now operational, normal traffic flow has resumed, and all routes into and out of Atlantic City are clear.
