Gunman Arrested for Shooting at Manassas Walmart Parking Lot

MANASSAS, VA – A confrontation in the Walmart parking lot at 9401 Liberia Ave. led to the arrest of Deon Dwight Holland, 37, of Manassas, on charges of brandishing a firearm. The incident occurred at approximately 8:12 PM on July 10, when police were called to the scene.

According to police reports, a physical altercation erupted between Holland and a 43-year-old man. During the altercation, Holland reportedly brandished a firearm at the victim. After the confrontation, Holland and an acquaintance re-entered the store, where he was later detained by officers without further incident. No shots were fired during the encounter.

Holland has been charged with brandishing a firearm and was released on a court summons. His court date is pending.
