Clarkstown Flooding Alert: Key Roads Closed Amid Rising Water Levels

by Breaking Local News Report

CLARKSTOWN, NY – The Clarkstown Police Department has issued a flooding alert, indicating significant flooding throughout the town. Several key roads have been closed due to high water levels, affecting traffic and transportation.

The closures include S Pascack Road at Pipetown Hill Road and Fisher Avenue at Prospect Street, both in Nanuet, as well as Strawtown Road at McCarthy Way in West Nyack.

The police are urging residents to prioritize safety and refrain from driving through flooded areas. Floodwaters can often be misleading in depth and speed, making driving through them hazardous.
