Prince George’s County officer suspended after arrest for unauthorized vehicle use

UPPER MARLBORO, Md. — A Prince George’s County police officer has been suspended without pay following her arrest on October 3, officials said.

Police Officer Sierra Alston, who has been with the department since 2023, was charged by the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority Police Department with unauthorized use of a vehicle and other related offenses. The details surrounding the charges have not been disclosed.

Alston, who was assigned to the Bureau of Patrol, will remain suspended while the case proceeds, according to a statement from the Prince George’s County Police Department.

Further inquiries regarding the charges against Alston should be directed to the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority Police Department.
