Greenbelt police search for three armed juvenile suspects in Beltway Plaza shooting

Police are on the lookout for three armed juveniles after a shooting at Beltway Plaza, asking the public to assist in identifying the suspects.

GREENBELT, MD — Authorities in Greenbelt are seeking public assistance in identifying three juvenile suspects wanted in connection with a shooting that occurred Saturday afternoon at Beltway Plaza.

The incident unfolded around 4:01 p.m. when shots were fired at the shopping center, prompting a response from the Greenbelt Police Department. The suspects, described as armed, were last seen fleeing on foot toward Berwyn Heights.

Police released descriptions of the three individuals, all of whom were wearing black ski masks and dark clothing at the time of the shooting. One suspect was dressed in a navy blue jacket, another in a black bubble jacket, and the third in an “Essentials” hoodie with a white shirt underneath.
