FORKED RIVER, N.J. — The Associated Humane Popcorn Park Shelter announced that it will be temporarily closed due to renovations, with no set reopening date as of now.

The shelter, located in Forked River, shared the update on social media Monday, expressing gratitude for the community’s continued support and understanding during the closure.

“Due to these [renovations] we will be CLOSED until further notice,” the shelter stated in its announcement, assuring the public that updates on adoptable animals will continue to be posted online to facilitate adoptions once the facility reopens.

The organization encouraged supporters to stay engaged and look forward to giving the animals their forever homes as soon as operations resume.
