PHILADELPHIA — Police are asking for the public’s help in locating a vehicle believed to be connected to the fatal shooting of a 52-year-old man on Sunday, January 12, 2025. The incident occurred at 4:16 a.m. on the highway near 2629 N. 27th Street, and investigators have released details about a vehicle of interest.
The Philadelphia Police Department’s Homicide Unit has identified the vehicle as a gray or blue 2005-2010 Nissan Quest. Authorities say the minivan has moderate damage to the front passenger-side quarter panel and noticeable fading paint on the rooftop. Surveillance footage shows the vehicle last seen in the area of 31st and York Street at approximately 4:31 a.m., 15 minutes after the shooting.

Investigators have released a video compilation of the vehicle, which can be viewed on the Philadelphia Police Department’s YouTube channel and website. A $20,000 reward is being offered for information leading to an arrest and conviction in the case.
Police are urging anyone with information about the vehicle or its driver to come forward. “If you see this suspect, do not approach,” a statement from the department reads. Instead, residents are advised to call 911 immediately.
