Man critically injured in Bridgeville shooting, Delaware State Police investigating

BRIDGEVILLE, Del. — Delaware State Police detectives are investigating a shooting that left a 41-year-old man critically injured in Bridgeville on Thursday afternoon.

Troopers responded to the 21000 block of Coverdale Road at approximately 3:50 p.m. on February 13, where they found the victim suffering from a gunshot wound. He was transported to a local hospital for treatment.

The Delaware State Police Troop 4 Criminal Investigations Unit is leading the investigation. Authorities have not released any suspect information or a possible motive.
