Mercer County resident claims massive $1 million scratch-off prize

TRENTON, NJ – A lucky Mercer County player has claimed the first $1 million top prize in the Mega Hot 7’s Scratch-Off Game, with two more top prizes still up for grabs.

The winning ticket was purchased on March 14 at Hamilton Deli & Grill on Quaker Bridge Road in Hamilton. The prize is valued at $1 million as an annuity, with a cash payout of $601,400.

Other major scratch-off wins last week included a $100,000 Bingo Extra prize in Woodlynne on March 13 and a $200,000 Fat Wallet prize in Blackwood on March 15.

Since its launch in 1970, the New Jersey Lottery has contributed nearly $33.7 billion to state programs, including the public employee pension system.
