Suspect charged with first-degree murder in fatal Baltimore shooting

BALTIMORE, MD — A Baltimore man has been arrested and charged with first-degree murder in connection with a fatal January shooting that left one man dead and another injured.

Investigators determined that 30-year-old Darren Tomlinson was responsible for the January 19 shooting in the 400 block of Washburn Avenue, where 43-year-old Hassan Howard was killed and a 35-year-old man was wounded.

On March 19, detectives located and arrested Tomlinson in the 3700 block of 2nd Street without incident. He was transported to the Central Booking Intake Facility, where he faces murder charges.
