HARRISBURG, PA — A 27-year-old Allegheny County man has been arrested and charged in connection with the death of a 15-year-old Oakdale girl who fatally overdosed on fentanyl he allegedly supplied in exchange for sexual conduct.

Attorney General Dave Sunday announced Tuesday that Shakeirs Foster was taken into custody at his place of employment following a joint investigation by the Office of Attorney General, North Fayette Police Department, and the 51st Statewide Investigating Grand Jury.

Key Points:

  • Shakeirs Foster, 27, is charged in the death of a 15-year-old girl who fatally overdosed on fentanyl in May 2024.
  • Foster allegedly extorted the victim for sexual conduct in exchange for providing the drugs.
  • Charges include drug delivery resulting in death and sexual extortion.

According to investigators, Foster provided the girl with fentanyl prior to her death on May 14, 2024. The investigation also revealed that Foster coerced the victim into sexual conduct in return for drugs, constituting sexual extortion.

Foster is now facing charges including drug delivery resulting in death, sexual extortion, and other related offenses. Authorities say the case highlights the lethal impact of fentanyl and the exploitation of minors by drug dealers.

“This is a tragedy beyond words,” said Attorney General Sunday. “This loss of life was directly caused by a predatory drug dealer who targeted a vulnerable child.”

The case remains under investigation as officials continue efforts to address fentanyl-related fatalities across Pennsylvania.
