Ocean County lottery winner lands $1.06 Million jackpot

by Local News Report

TRENTON, NJ – A lucky player in Ocean County has won a $1,063,710 Jersey Cash 5 jackpot, marking the 15th jackpot win of the year and the fifth time the prize has surpassed $1 million in 2025.

The winning ticket matched all five numbers — 08, 24, 36, 38, and 45 — in the April 3 drawing. The Xtra number was 04, and the Bullseye was 08.

In addition to the jackpot winner, ten players each won $1,500 by matching four of five numbers plus the Bullseye and Xtra. One player won $750 by matching four numbers and the Xtra, while 42 others matched four numbers and the Bullseye, each winning $500.

The winning ticket was purchased through Jackpocket, a digital lottery courier service.

The New Jersey Lottery has contributed nearly $33.7 billion to the state since its inception in 1970, supporting services including public employee pensions under a long-term funding agreement.
