Kawasaki swiped in Wilkes-Barre: Police investigate motorcycle theft on West Beatty Street

WILKES-BARRE, PA — City police are investigating the theft of a motorcycle that was reported stolen from outside a residence on West Beatty Street earlier this week.

According to the Wilkes-Barre City Police Department, officers responded to the scene around 10:38 a.m. on Wednesday following a report of a stolen vehicle. The victim, a 44-year-old Wilkes-Barre resident, informed police that his 2019 black Kawasaki ZX6R motorcycle had been unlawfully removed overnight.

The motorcycle had been parked near the victim’s home at the time of the theft. The vehicle was registered in Pennsylvania with the license plate number 3KM50.

Police have not identified any suspects and the investigation remains ongoing.
