Washington, D.C. — A manhunt is underway after a shooting in the lobby of a Southeast D.C. apartment complex left one man seriously injured early Saturday morning, police announced Wednesday.
The incident occurred around 1:13 a.m. on April 26 in the 800 block of New Jersey Avenue SE. Officers from the First District responded to the scene and later located the adult male victim in the Unit block of Q Street SW. He was transported by DC Fire and EMS to a nearby hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
Investigators determined the shooting stemmed from a dispute that broke out inside the building’s lobby.
