Surveillance shows suspect in terrifying D.C. burglary

Washington, D.C. — A suspect who participated in a violent home invasion last month in Southeast D.C. is being sought by police, who released surveillance video and images in hopes of identifying him.

The incident occurred on Monday, March 31, at approximately 8:36 p.m. in the 800 block of Barnaby Street SE. According to investigators, multiple suspects approached a victim and forced them back into their residence at gunpoint. Once inside, the suspects demanded property, which the victim handed over before the group fled the scene.

The victim was not physically injured during the incident.
