At approximately 4:10 a.m., a 44-year-old man was sitting in his vehicle in front of 2816 Church Avenue when he was approached by an unidentified individual who demanded his property, police said. A struggle followed, during which the suspect displayed a firearm and shot the man in the left leg.

The victim was transported by private means to NYC Health and Hospitals/Kings County, where he was listed in stable condition.

Following the shooting, the suspect fled on foot and confronted a 32-year-old man in front of 2705 Church Avenue. Police said the suspect threatened the second victim and forcibly removed $20 before fleeing again on foot.
