Collegedale Police Arrest Man for Soliciting Minors at Collegedale Chick-fil-A

Collegedale, TN – A 29-year-old man was arrested on felony charges, including solicitation of a minor and human trafficking, following a suspicious activity call at a Chick-fil-A on Old Lee Highway, Collegedale Police Department announced.

On the Tusday, at around 9:30 p.m., officers responded to reports of an adult male attempting to meet a juvenile for a potential sexual encounter at the restaurant located at 8959 Old Lee Highway. A traffic stop was conducted on a vehicle leaving the scene, identified by a restaurant employee. The driver, identified as Bradley Zach Wolchuk, appeared nervous and was seen attempting to delete content from his phone during the interaction.

According to police, Wolchuk admitted to engaging in sexually explicit communication with a 17-year-old male he met earlier that day, offering the juvenile a tattoo in exchange for sexual favors. The juvenile and a restaurant manager promptly alerted authorities upon Wolchuk’s return to the location.

Wolchuk was taken into custody and charged with solicitation of a minor, trafficking for a commercial sex act, and unlawful removal of registration. He was booked into the Hamilton County Jail, with his case scheduled for Collegedale Municipal Court on June 25.

Chief Jack Sapp praised the response of officers and the cooperation of the restaurant staff and victim, stating, “Our officers acted quickly and professionally to prevent a serious crime. We are grateful for the timely report that allowed us to intervene.”
