PHILADELPHIA – A shooting late Friday night in Southwest Philadelphia left two men hospitalized and multiple vehicles and a home damaged, police said.
Officers from the 12th District responded to a report of a person with a gun on the 7000 block of Paschall Avenue at approximately 10:16 p.m. on Friday. When they arrived, they found two men suffering from gunshot wounds—one lying on the highway and another inside a gray Chrysler 200C.
Both victims were transported to Penn-Presbyterian Medical Center. According to police, a 30-year-old male is in extremely critical condition, while a 22-year-old male is listed in stable condition.
An investigation by the Shooting Investigation Group revealed that multiple parked vehicles and the front door of a nearby residence were also struck during the gunfire. No additional injuries were reported.
As of Saturday, no arrests have been made and no motive has been identified. Investigators have not released the names of the victims.
