YONKERS, N.Y. — A man with a lengthy criminal history has been arrested for allegedly stealing a printer from La Piñata Bakery on New Main Street earlier this week, Yonkers police announced Friday.

Curtis Moore, 40, was identified as the suspect after he walked out of the bakery with a boxed printer early Tuesday morning. Following a report from the store owner, detectives from the Yonkers Police Department’s Crime Control Strategies Unit began investigating and, with assistance from the Pattern Crimes Unit, arrested Moore earlier today.

Police said Moore has accumulated more than 40 arrests throughout his criminal career, mostly for theft-related offenses. His record reportedly spans 70 pages, leading the department to joke that printing it overheated their equipment.

Moore has been charged with petit larceny in connection to the latest theft.
