Baltimore area teacher arrested on multiple sex offense charges

TOWSON, Md. — A 61-year-old teacher employed by Baltimore County Public Schools was arrested Friday on multiple sex offense and assault charges, according to the Baltimore County Police Department.

Roger Myers was taken into custody by detectives from the department’s Crimes Against Children Unit. Authorities said the charges are linked to alleged incidents that occurred on school grounds. Officials did not specify the school involved or the time period of the alleged offenses.

Myers is currently being held without bond at the Baltimore County Detention Center. Police have not released details about the victims or how the alleged offenses were reported.
